We are pleased to announce that the eMAMA Final Conference – Pathway to Impact: Advancing Maternal Mental Health Capacity in Africa will be held in Livingstone, Zambia, from 4–5 May 2026.

As the flagship event of the eMAMA project, the conference brings together policymakers, educators, researchers, and health professionals from across Africa and Europe to share experiences, build partnerships, and shape the future of maternal mental health capacity building.
The theme for the eMAMA Final Conference 2026 is “Building sustainable systems for maternal mental health in Africa: education, innovation, and collaboration.” Through this lens, the event will explore how higher education, health systems, and international cooperation can drive long-term change for maternal well-being.

The Call for Abstracts and speaker invitations will be announced in early 2026.

📅 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The eMAMA Final Conference 2026 spans two inspiring days of collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge exchange among policymakers, educators, researchers, and health professionals.

Monday, 4 May – Day 1: High-Level Policy and Global Perspectives
